You're looking at it! This site was built from scratch in VS Code. It has advanced my experience in web design and JavaScript. On top of the minimalistic design and animations, I implemented the libraries DayJS and ScrollMagic to make the website pop.
I created an official website for the Fencing Club at Kent State alongside my team. User interfaces are divded between a fully featured front-end as well as a staff dashboard where club faculty can manage the website's content. This includes a calendar, newsletter, merchandise store, and roster all integrated within MySQL and PHP.
This is a collection of projects I've done through KSU to learn data structures, programming patterns, dynamic memory, STL, and much more. These have developed my foundation in computer science and taught me fundamental structures such as stacks, heaps, trees, templates, lists, vectors, and IOstream.
This project demonstrates my relational database skills and helped me learn MySQL and PHP. It features a search functionality, shopping cart, checkout, and staff login. SQL applications include queries, insertions, views, deletions, procedures, and injection protection.
I grew up running Linux Distros on my computer so I'm very comfortable with the operating system. Many of my skills are specific to Linux applications such as Gimp for image editing and Kdenlive for video editing. I'm planning to learn their Windows equivalents, namely Photoshop and Davinci Resolve.
I learned patience and disipline while working here during my first year of college. My responsiblity was to watch over the kids attending the park and look out for their safety while enforcing rules. This job taught me to stay focused, take responsiblity, and manage multiple things at once in a rather chaotic environment. I look fondly on my time here and believe it helped me mature as a person.
This is my current job. Handel's has really taught me professionalism and good communication skills as my job involves interacting with customers constantly. I have to take their order, serve them, and ensure they have a pleasant experience. My responsiblities include taking orders, working the register, scooping ice cream, answering the phone, and assisting customers with additional requests. Overall, working here has made me a great team worker, helped me develop great interpersonal communication, be an active listener, and adaptable to many situations.
I'm looking for a Software Engineering/Web Development/IT internship! Please contact me if you're interested in my services.
